In the horses racing the trade in shorts races: back/lay to first favorite and lay/back in larges races ( no play in favorite with odds less than 2.00 in hrd).

In soccer lay at under/over 3.5 goals. is very easy an the profit is garanted.

In tennis trade at player than do service.

And my favorites are the parlays (combinateds) low stakes, many profit !

Thanks

Certainly is not and you should not be advising people that it is, there is nothing that can be guaranteed when trading on football ;)

I'm currently mulling doing a starter (not a user) guide so if anybody wants to have some input into it I'm happy to listen to what people would really want. "Which button do I press to make a million?" will not make it into the starter guide! But more generaly advice and tips for starting up with Bet Angel are looking to creep in.

For my recommendation, I suggest you start where I did. When I started I just didn't have a clue and knew nothing about horse racing so I had no specialist knowledge. I wasn't a very good trader on financial markets either, other than that I had everything going for me!

All I did was prod and probe the markets to see what generally worked and what didn't. I started cutting out mistakes or markets that didn't suit my style and focused on trying to improve what did help. The one thing I learnt that was that even if I traded at random I didn't lose that much so I knew that it was a thin line to cross to profitability. I worked hard to cross it.

If you want to learn about how volatility affects the market and your positions, set up the one click screen watch the micro charts. Look for stable markets and stable prices. Click on a reversed book and wait for both orders to fill. If one side doesn't exit for a loss. Keep doing this for a while and you will get a feel for how volatilty affects your position.

I would also recommending to learn how to scratch effectively using the ladder. Use small amounts and try and exit for zero. It's a useful skill to learn.

From there you can start to build out.

I think he is saying back the server at tennis and trade out at the end of the game. This has a naturally high strike rate but unless you pick the right moment it's not net postive on it's own.

A good method am working on is the Trading dutchman :D its where i make a dutch bet, and then use my trading tactics to turn the liabilitys to zero scalping away, abit like crafting a model. Very profitable, if you get the scalping part right

Unfortunately, BF commission and PC puts solid strategies under pressure

I used to have quite a good one - It's amazing how tennis matches have amazing turnarounds in fortune. A player looks on the cusp of winning, and yet blows it

I had a strategy of laying both players at 1.2 (providing the pre-match favourite wasn't less than that). For a £100 book, this returned £40. A loser would be for £10. I just upping my stakes during a losing spell because I knew this would return at some stage.

I made handsome profits, but once those fookers from BF started swiping some of my proceeds I lost interest

A nice little earner for smaller stakes for beginners

Not really a strategy as such, but I think a useful toe-dip for newbies might be a dabble on the greyhound scene. Low liquidity and massive volatility, so use minimum stakes and don't worry too much about P/L, but it does tune your reflexes to act quickly and make decisions instinctively, which will probably serve you well when you hit the more liquid markets. Plus they happen in abundance so you can get through 8-10 an hour, which really might help sharpen your game, particularly if you can gain a decent strike rate.

LeTiss read stategies about trading tennis at 1.2...I do something similar to that.but with lower odds

Just out of interest what was your longest losing run laying both players at 1.2...and what was your highest stake..has i can see logic with that approach...

I am very new to using Bet Angel, but have been trading for more than a year testing different systems.
Like someone else wrote try to break even at first, and then go for small winnings, if whatever you are doing will bring in a small profit over lets say 30games increase your stakes. I like to use 2% of my bank as a stake, then it automatically slowly increase when I win.
I usually go for 8-10% profit from my stake.

Markets that are good to trade, in my point of view are high volume soccer games, that you are watching live.

In one of Peters videos he is talking about how many minutes there are in a soccer match....
So pre half time there might be 3minutes added to the game, when you get this info set a automation to sell the favorite, buy the draw or 0-0 or do it in the ladder, place the bet to be executed when the extended time is up / ten seconds before this time, and trade out ten minutes later for a few tics profit.

Usually the odds on the favorite will increase and the price on the draw will go down, on low volume games this can be somewhat tricky.

Anyways it is a good place to start with small stakes ;P

Another good strategy is buy whatever market when a goal is scored and get rid of it in less than two minutes, there are a very high tendency of a second goal being scored at this time, and the volume you can scalp of this isn't always huge, but the number of tics can be 2-10+.

The greater the reward the greater the risk ^^ :D
