I got a diary some years ago, then two years ago a calendar. Last year, on Christmas eve, I got a premium charge.

Lol,

they sent me some cards once in an attempt to encourage me to resume playing online poker which I'd quit once I discovered that the deal was not truly random

Didn't realise that, surely there is an obligation to be totally random, isn't there?

Still nothing from Betfair in my mailbox or inbox. Could this be the second year in a row that they can't be bothered to send out ANY christmas greetings?

Got to say that's really poor of Betfair. The amount of money some of you guys pour through the markets, they should be making an extra effort rather than no effort at all. You'd of thought a percentage of each premium charged customer could be reserved for this. Perplexing behaviour to say the least.

I've had christmas e-cards from virtually all of the bookmakers I have accounts with. Bet365 sent a very nice 2010 diary. Betfair gave me absolute jack shit. They really need to sharpen their act up next year, they've become extremely arrogant. Their customer service department is beyond a joke, they seem to think that cornering the exchange market means they don't need to make an effort anymore

They shake your hand (If you can call it that) with one hand while picking your pocket with the other!

Shortly after helping themselves to my money in my account they posted this on the forum service section:

Please be advised that our UK Helpdesk will close at 8pm GMT on 24th December and re-open again at 10:30pm GMT on 25th December.

Betfair would like to take this opportunity to wish all of our customers a Happy Christmas and prosperous New Year.

Merry Ducking Christmas to you too Andrew and Ed - nothing like 'The season of giving' - the Betfair Christmas motto is 'The season of taking' and giving F all.

Now careful eating your Christmas Pudding stuffed with Premium Charge coins, Andrew and Ed, we wouldn't want any accidents!
