Hi,
I had a trigger set within Automation on Don't Tell Nina in the last race @ Uttoxeter. The trigger was set @ 2.9 to place a back bet @ 2.9.
The trigger was never fired but the screenshot shows clearly money was matched below that price. Is it possible this money was a result of cross matching and the actual price of the horse never dropped below the trigger? This is only thing I think may have happened, even then I'm not sure.
The trigger was definitely set up right with the checkbox checked in Automation.
Anyone any ideas?
Trigger not Triggered?!
Erm ok.Totty2457 wrote:I have not written any rules, I am using the Automation rule
This is different to what you said in your latest post. Now you are saying you have set a price window between 1.01 to 2.9Totty2457 wrote:The trigger was set @ 2.9 to place a back bet @ 2.9.
In this case it should have fired the bet unless the market was moving so fast it just didn't have time. I see from the picture the last matched price was 1000 with £51K matched on the runner, with only a few pounds matched between 2.9 & 2.52. So it looks like a fast moving in-running market. The price did not linger long enough below your trigger point. I did not see this market but I expect the price was below 2.9 for just a few nano seconds.
Ok thanks, so I guess what were saying is that it is possible, although obviously very very rare, that a trigger price may be breached without setting off the trigger, if it has flashed past the price so quickly that the software hasnt had time to react?
