Miserable sod! I thought it was fantastic, loving the cycling this afternoon but the beach volley ball was nice to watch whilst eating breakfast
The racing will have to be put on the back burner for me!

I tried to get tickets for Wimbledon, but couldn't get any. I'm sat watching it at home yesterday, only to find masses of empty seats!
'Inspire a generation' eh?
More like 'corrupted by commercialisation'
These corporates seem to think it's fine to threaten court action on an independent butcher, who simply displays 5 rings of sausages in his shop window, but then can't be bothered to fill the seats, when there's avid sport fans without tickets at home

It will be interesting to see how many sports in the UK really gain momentum over the next 4 years due to the Olympics.
The two sports I'm particularly thinking about is Handball and Volleyball. They are both very popular throughout Europe and South America, but not in the UK. However, they are great sports to watch and the crowds have really got into them, so we could see them have huge increases in participation numbers
