Didn't say it was.

Whereas I suppose you were being friendly when you called me a sod? :) OK, what this lad allegedly said is far more offensive, but it's a question of degree...

The problem with the internet is that people say things they really shouldn't and wouldn't say if they were face to face with the person. So I think people should be held accountable for the things they say on the internet. If it was an accepted principle that your details wil be exposed if asked then I think people may think twice before slinging comments around a public medium.

Don't know the particulars of this issue BTW so can't comment on what has or hasn't happened here.

Surely it's not that surprising the police are investigating a death threat made against Tom Daley is it ?.

maybe im just missing the point :?
but it looks to me like people are assuming it's all about the comments made about his dad.

A stubborn sod is a type of sod, is it not? If you feel I've misrepresented you, my apologies. Things got a bit heated before, and I probably could have expressed myself a bit better. :)

Stop digging a hole Jeff!

I'd stick to what you're best at, like searching for your landlady on dating websites :D

Funnily enough, she's no longer on the dating website, which means either that she's found someone or just got fed up with complete strangers making indecent proposals and sending her rude pictures!

BTW, someone sent me this cartoon today, which I think illustrates some of the hypocrisy at play in this country when it comes to what you can and can't say...
