Quality of Favourites by days of the week

If i were to bias my 'lay the favourite' bets by days of the week, are there days that are more favourable than others? In essence do favourites consistently perform better on some days than others. So far I've come to the conclusion that I should avoid Saturdays but definitely go for Thurdays. Any opinions?

The difference between the days is negligible.

The key is not how many favourites win or lose as a percentage of total events but rather how they perform relative to their average quoted SP.
