What do people think of Kauto Star's chances tomorrow?
Over-hyped and a good lay, or a sure thing?

Kauto Star
If you are betting in a race then you are looking for an angle.
I personally think the price of Kauto Star is about right (1.61 to 1.62) and around Kempton he is at his best. Although Imperial Commnader looks his chief treat on paper, there is a question mark about going right handed - although to be fair he has only done it twice (never looked like winning in either) and this is not enough evidence to be righting him off.
If I was betting I would be thieving some double figure each way on Barbers Shop who did't stay in the gold cup and Hennesy and this is more up his street.
I'll be trading though and this will offer plenty of opportunities.
For those brave enough to go in play, I would be amazed if Kauto didn't travel extremely well and could trade alot shorter in running. Last year he took it up 5-6 out. Also Barbers Shop could travel really well and for a small outlay (back to lay) you could see a big swing. But I want to watch this race and enjoy it so I'll just trade pre-race.
Whatever you do, watch it as it is a great spectacle!

I was trying to get filled with tons on the back side when the price pinged out so I suddenly found myself -£300, but recovered. I didn't think the price could possibly continue out forever as it didn't seem realistic that people were actually laying Kauto expecting him to lose.
He completely hosed up didn't he, very very impressive.

Trade of the day had to be waited for until the last race of the day:
