We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Hi all !

This is my first post here and have to advise that my English is pretty bad.
I am new in this area, but I like to learn and why not, maybe earn a little money.

So, here we go.

1º. I have seen a few tutorials on youtube where someone make trading with BA,but in the same time is logged on into Betfair acount. Can I use BA and be logged in to my BF acount, at the same time, without problems??
Ask this because I want to check some strategies that I have in my mind and I want to make small bets (under 2 € or even less than 1 €), which can not be done with BA but, I have seen that it is possible directly from my account. Betfair accept bets below 2€ or 1€, right ?

2º. Do you think that (to make small bets under 2€ or 1€) can it be a problem if used in abuse. I do not use very much BA in practice mode. I make real betting (smalls trades) sometimes (interspersed). I saw that may be a problem. I do not want my account closed.

Hi.

1º. Absolutely no problem. I'm almost always logged on both.

2º. You might incur into abuse and get a warning or a suspension from bf, but someone else can fill you in with more details.

Hi,you can place bets on betfair for under £2 $2 whatever but its time consuming, you can use bet angel to do it quickly , for a back bet use the dutching screen , for a lay bet use the bookmaking screen, set your amount in the back with a stake or lay with a stake box, check the box on your selection and enter the bet , bet angel will do the rest , it is in the terms and conditions about going under the minimum stake but i would have thought greening in lot of cases would go under so i doubt they would suspend you , i never had a problem when i was learning and ive put in a lot of bets for under the minimum.

So my first question was clarified.
As for the second question I see that your opinions are different. If someone wants to expose her opinion .. I'm glad to hear and I insist to do it !

Now, legendz, thanks for your advice. I just now discovering how powerful is BA.
I checked what you said. But this is possible to do only when using the Dutching or the bookmaking.I have some excel spreadsheets (what I link to one of the BAP templates to make automatic calculation) for dutch or hedge (even for two different markets) and one of these is a calculator for flat stake, split stake, bet saver dutch, dutch profit. The only difference between this and BA, is that all four methods can use the override target profit option and in BA just in one. This was not a problem if I can put my bet, directly from the mine Excel spreadsheets. But I can not. Or is it possible but I do not know how to do this??

I think it would be a great achievement to be able to place bets under 2 € directly from your excel spreadsheet to, in the future. Maybe in the near future ..

Hi Anka , using under minimum stakes doesn't work in automation , i'm not sure with excel you should maybe post on excel to find out, but im sure because its in the terms and conditions they cant write it into the software , i'm sure Peter would clarify this , there are other ways i.e to test frequencys of winners/losers , it is possible to create a set of rules for example to lay the shortest price horse/dog in every race for say 2p but you need to write in a few conditions to protect yourself.
