Hi All,
I've been trading Golf for a few weeks now and had some success so decided to purchase BetAngel Professional. Read the user manual and can see how it adds a lot of value to an advanced trader but for me, I am still keeping it simple (manual).
However, I see a lot of benefit of using the tool in the lay to back market during the back 9 of a golf tournament where low digital odds can move a lot off the back of a drop shot. Having made some mistakes at the weekend (but luckily the trade went my way) I am looking for what BetAngel functionality I should be using.
My initial view is to use the charting with offsetting a stop loss and greening - is this correct? My example would be selecting a suitable lay (2.0 ish) based on the market depth view, include a stop loss of 10 ticks and I then want to include a back bet (with greening) of lets say 3.0. I would then want BetAngel to execute these trades without me being at the computer - is this automation or am I asking it to do too much e.g. make a cup of coffee as well??
I am sure the experts will say this depends on your trading strategy, however, any advice is greatly set in the context of the above example.
Regards
Golf: Lay to Back Final Round Leader
You should be careful trying to use a narrow stop loss in play as if the leader shanks it or something similar the odds may jump straight out and the stop loss will trigger but it may not close you out at that point. The reason for this is the in-play bet placement delay. By the time Bet Angel has seen the price triggered and the delay has been implemented the price may have gone.
