Betfair commison charges in laymans terms

We were all new to Bet Angel once. Ask any question you like here and fellow forum members promise not to laugh. Betfair trading made simple.

Please can someone tell me how betfair charge commision, and when does it go up and does it stay at that rate. Also hown does it comopare to betdaq especially at the higher income levels.

But basically both Betfair and Betdaq have base rate commission which is deducted on your net winnings in a market. This varies from 2-5% generally. So if you make €100 net net, you would have to pay €5 in commission to either exchange.

Betdaq is really simple, they just have base rate. Betfair can get complicated as they have many charges for many different things, but the main one you need to be aware of is the premium charge. Though paying it means you have at least been successful enough to fall foul of it!

Why would high profit traders use betfair then if they can have a small flat rate on betdaq, does betdaq have trading disavantages.
