Is it possible to amend bets via excel?

You can cancel unmatched bets via Excel but you cannot amend the stake or price of individual unmatched bets.

I'm not sure how this could be implemented. Imagine someone has 100 unmatched bets on a particular runner or in a market. How would you identify which bet is which? You could use bet reference numbers but where would these be stored in the spreadsheet?

All suggestions welcome.

Surely it would not be hard to assign a column on the far right of the spreadsheet to the bets for a selection.
For instance in a football match
Home team is B9 and in T10 of the spreadsheet is an average odds of the unmatched backs and in U10 contains the stake for these backs and V10 has the number of bets.
In the next 3 columns are the unmatched lays.
Why couldn't you assign each unmatched bet both back and lay to 3 further columns so for instance AG2 Price AH2 amount and in AI2 whether it is back of lay.
We could then use this extra data how ever we feel.
If the the spreadsheet is averaging these unmatched bets it shouldn't be hard to display it, but i may well be wide of the mark.

split your bet into small sections,..ie £100 might be placed as five £20 bets then you can cancel some of them..thus amending your bet..

The individual bets are not shown in excel so how can you cancel them one at a time. Its all or nothing.

I sent a query to BA support regarding this couple of weeks ago. Unfortunately, it's not possible to cancel individual bets. You can certainly cancel_all_back, or cancel_all_lay, or cancel_all.

As buyshirts pointed out, it's all or nothing.

I've experimented with this and the only thing I could come up with is to cancel the existing unmatched bet and place a new one (via vba script of course).
