Here are some suggestions that would make your great new automation tool even more powerful. :)

New Rule Types:
* Switch to Rule => Parameter: Rule-Name.
(This would allow the user to switch to a new scenario under certain circumstances! That is would be absolute fantastic!)
* Cancel All Unmatched LAY-Bets
* Cancel All Unmatched BACK-Bets

New Condition Types:
* Number of Matched Bets Condition
* Number of Matched Lay-Bets Condition
* Number of Matched Back-Bets Condition
* Number of Unmatched Lay-Bets Condition
* Number of Unmatched Back-Bets Condition

Agree with alot of these above.
"Switch to a different rule would be great"
Perhaps "amount matched on selection is more useful than number of matched bets"

We have been looking at these suggestions and stumbled across a problem.

If you are looking at unmatched bets they could be part matched so we may have to look at consolidating them by bet reference perhaps? So if you place two bets and one matches in three chunks and the other in one go, it counts as two rather than four.

Also, if one bet has only partially matched it would still have to count as one as otherwise we'd have to pair off against unmatched bet references. Would that be ok, or do people really require number of 'fully matched' bets?

For example, If you place an order for £100 it could take maybe 10 bets for it to be matched so do we say 10 bets or one and if one what would qualify as one bet, fully matched, partial, what part? There are quite a few variations.

If perhaps you can explain what you want to use the conditions for that may be a good guide.

In my case, i think the ability to switch rules would be very useful (mainly for football), and a useful trigger for this would be how much has been greened up to date..ie AMOUNT matched on both lay and back sides.

With this information it should be possible to create "layers" within the rules file.
So: Run rules a, b and c until X amount is matched, and only then start to run rules d e and f.

For tennis on the other hand, its nice to start off with larger stakes when theres a decent chance of trading out, but once i make a decent green i prefer to reduce the stakes and only stake a percentage of my greened up "profits". This also requires knowledge of matched bets to work.

I know this is all very possible using excel too, but i think i speak for lots of people when i say we're all just lazy and want everything possible to make our lives easier!!!

ps are there any plans to introduce guardian for betdaq?

For me it doesn't matter if you count fully or partially matched bets. Other solution for my problem would be the possibility to set total actual liability condition.

Hi Peter,

In my case, I need to make sure I don't go above a certain liability per horse race (not per bet), this way I can make an average profit or have a minor loss.
The way it works now, my automation keep betting until my balance is empty and if i lose a single game, I lose it all. If there is a way to limit one matched bet per event that's what I'm after.

I'm really interested in a maximum liability per event or a matched bet condition, then I can make sure I stay under a certain liability per race. A matched bet condition would be one way to resolve this.

By the way, this is my first forum post and my first month with Bet Angel :) absolutely loving the software! Thanks so much Peter.

Cheers!

Could we get a Matched Bet Time Condition please.
When I set a rule with an offset bet, when the bet is matched in one hit, in the split second between the bet been matched and the offset bet being placed it fires in another bet as it sees the unmatched bets condition (=0) as been matched.
I have used the unmatched bets time condition to try and stop this but I find that when it has been matched in one hit it is not seen by automation as an unmatched bet any more, since it is now a matched bet and it now places two bets, the offset bet and the automation bet.
Please it is driving me mad.
