Huge delay with orders

Is anyone else experiencing problems at the moment? I just had a real sphincter moment when I saw my orders stuck and not being placed. I just had the Placing Bet sign but no change in my position. I had backed Gull Rock down to around 2.30 then I stepped off...at least I thought I had but despite my order appearing in matched bets and then disappearing as if taken my liability didn't alter. I then found my lay order matched at 2.26 and as the price rose towards 2.50 I was trying to step off again. The same thing happened and I started to worry :shock: :shock:

I went to the website to see my orders filled and a great profit on the favourite so I greened up.

It was slightly hairy and I am thinking it was an API error. I'm going to sit back and watch now until I hear from either Betfair or my fellow forumites.

EDIT: I had backed it and tried to lay than laid it and was trying to back so it was two swing trades down and then up.

If you think the API or an order has 'stuck', you can always click the big red 'R' on the bottom toolbar. This resets all connections to Betfair and may return things to normal.

I'm not seeing anything odd this afternoon.

yep Jolly same thing . didnt fire my bets from guardian , im just reseting bet angel , tried the red button nothing and nothing in the log , i have two instances open so i used the one on my pc which worked.

i reset betangel onmy laptop and its working now . ive had some really weird stuff happen with the software lately , a couple of days ago i switched to the dutching screen and only the first 2 runners were showing in a race with 11 , a reset solved that problem aswell.

Betfair just refused my orders into the 16:10, just no bets appearing. Couldn't find any obvious explanation.

i had this on sunday morning in the ufc , wouldnt take my bets even though money was showing .

Sorry for the slow reply, when it started to play up I took a break. I tried the R reset but like Legendz nothing happened. It did it again on the next race so when my first order stuck I decided it wasn't worth the risk.

Oh...and I fell asleep!

True , i actually you know , it was around the time it was crashing really badly , i think it was early 2010 , i knocked it on the head for six months , family problems , betfair crashing , etc etc i have to say it did me very good i mulled over a lot of stuff in my head and my trading improved ten fold , i get a fairly big red now , traded out through bet daq , turn off the laptop and have a power nap , tomorrows a different day ,

you didnt miss much today the racing was rubbish.

p.s. if theres no gaps between some of my words , my space bar is playing up as i use it to time my speed solves for the rubiks cube. :D
