How much money do you need to spoof to control the markets.

It obviously depends on the market and liquidity levels

What I have noticed though, is the increasing amounts of bots and automated trading that immediately reacts to a spoofer.

In April, I was looking at a League 2 match between Barnet and Hereford. Hereford were priced at 3.85 and I placed £5000 on them at 5.5, hoping to catch a fat finger, but also creating a bit of doubt that Hereford were going to come in. Within seconds £2500 was placed at 5.4

It shows that many people's bots react to WOM, and this creates many opportunities to trick them into placing bets they shouldn't be placing

youre right LeTiss....Just placing money then take it off quickly on the outside areas of the ladder exposes the bots....Im starting to have an idea of what some are upto.....

If you can see a spoofer then why not go up against them? ;)

You would have to be very quick, they usually in and out within 5 secs, they create the shift then scarper.
