In previous years you have your moments with the weather, but the outlook this week is the poorest I can remember for some time. No suprise that the winter months are the toughest. Still plenty of other sports around to dabble in. Aussie open Tennis starts soon as well.

At least we've got some extra AW fixtures now later in the week, 3 AW cards on Thursday and Friday (if you include the twighlight meetings) and 2 on Saturday. Good job the BHA are doing something!

Both AW courses are inspecting tomorrow now as well. Both expect snow overnight.

Lingfield abandoned, Kempton are hopeful that they can continue later. I would be suprised, we are 20mins south and have nearly 2ft of snow! I don't think there will be trading interest in the market anyhow. Looks like the week will be a write off!

Taking full advantage of the break in racing by getting my new setup sorted. Looking at the break as more of a positive than a negative by being able to catch up on all of the jobs I have been needing to get done.

I would have thought we will be back to two AW meetings from tomorrow plus one dusk meeting as it looks like the snow is about done with and it will just turn cold.

Go get the sledge out Peter!
