At the end of the day if you float your business and people buy your shares they are now the owners.

Was the issue you had last year Peter and this year Boing, that although you had bought shares in Betfair they were bought through a Nominee Account as opposed to Certificated trading account? I.e. the shares were owned by you but transferred into your brokers name.

I was unable to attend this year as it was my sons first day at a new school. I had a letter or representation but was not able to use it. Will be back next year.
