Hey folks,

new to this forum and feeling my way through this trading game so please be gentle.

Ive been quite happy with the way things have been going and genuinely believe ive been learning a little more each day. Until today!

Four times I got caught on the wrong side of some huge spikes, upto 30k at a time. As I said I havent been trading for long so I have very very little experience. This was the first time Ive seen this at such large numbers and unfortunately got burnt. I logged off and decided to call it a day, hopefully tomorrow will be different.

Is this a normal occurrence? Or (hopefully)was today a little abnormal?

Sorry if this seems abit of a newby question but if I dont ask I dont learn :)

Its not normal, just every now and then this crazy guy pops up for a day or two. Just try and adjust your trading to it while its temporarily there

Am starting to think this could be a Betfair API problem. Why would someone push so much money in a market to have say not even a 5th of it matched, it stinks, the Bomber could be a Betfair server :o

I am with freddy in this...He may be a bored football player or a wealthy man, who like to waste some money ..I also thought in the past that betfair was a possibility but for the time I started to look into it a bit deeper, he is actually losing quite a lot money. Why would betfair lose money like that? To give the P.C. back? :lol:
I am also with Andy, when this guy is around my possible average profit raise from 4 to 10 times more...Yesterday I made £100 with only £100 on my horses account but as soon England game started he stopped....

Layers, Bomber, Layers, Bomber....caused 4 spikes in less then one minute, 2 minutes before the off...
