Bet Angel to Excel connection slowed down since update?

Good Morning
Has anybody else suffered Excel showing prices with a lag since updating to the latest version of Java?
I updated on friday night or Saturday morning and noticed the prices on my Excel sheet seem to be lagging by about 1 second (when it should of been every 0.2 seconds).
I uninstalled the update and returned to Version 7 Update 9 build 1.7.0_09-b05
