Bankruptcy
you can, but beware, the investigators wont look kindly on it, if they become aware of it whilst you are undischarged, and may scrutinise this element (gambling) of the potential cause/effect of the bankruptcy in much more detail as a consequence.
Once you are a discharged bankrupt you can do what you want, like anyone else.

I don't think your administrator will be looking at your case again after you've been made bankrupt unless they have protracted assets to recover but they will wait years before doing that. They will have moved on to the next case, its just a clerical exercise for them, no-one is watching you. You use a screen name so can't be readily identified and I am quite sure that Betfair won't give a toss as long as they get their share. They're not giving you credit after all.
I would have thought having access to a debit or credit card to fund the account would be your main problem.

Rodders 26, Bankruptcy is all about preparation. Provided you don’t need to borrow any money you won’t know you are in it, by the way I speak from experience. I was made Bankrupt 20 years ago against my will and through no fault of my own. (except to be stupid enough to trust a corporate) If you have a wife or a partner it’s dead easy. Keep her squeaky clean financially. If she has a credit card that will accept deposits into Betfair (not all do) get an extra card in your name before you go Bankrupt, you won’t get one after, if not apply for one. After that it’s plain sailing, keep your head down and don’t draw attention to yourself financially, you are in and out in 12 months these days, I had to stay in three years, didn’t notice any difference.
