Hi all, not sure if anyone can shed some light on this - i am still waiting to hear back from BF.
Previously, there was a 5 second in play time delay on PL, CL and International footy games....(and some championship games too)...
This was good for scalping in play - but apparently now ALL games will be 8 seconds??!! I understand that when opening a trade, everyone will be on an even playing field....but when trying to close a position....8 seconds is far too long imo(to get your order in...then wait for it to be matched)...
Does anyone know the reasoning behind this?

I think it's always been like that and the 5 seconds delay matches are the exception?
Can't even recall having 5 seconds delay on an international match!

5 secs or 8 secs, many still beat the suspend, look at the copenhagen v stuttgart c/s market this evening.
most matched at a time per the b/f screen was approx 500ish all game. Lots of little bets, I would capture the image but dont know how to. Anyway 90mins plus its 0-1, BANG 3k plus matched seconds before the suspend for 0-2,huge spike in the chart seconds before, it was so obvious someone had beaten the delay. I only know because I fancied a lay at 1.14 it was trading 1.2 so never got matched... Beware the clock beaters are everywhere.

They're at the event with netbooks/ipads/smartphones. Locally, I have a friend who regularly goes to league of Ireland games, he says at some games there's an even split between the actual fans, and those looking at screens. I wouldn't have thought there would be much money on those markets but apparently there is for it to be worthwhile.
