I have noticed sometimes my greening up trigger fires, but the bet doesn't get matched. At the moment I have set the rule to fire 3 times, so another greening bet is submitted.

Sometimes in these situations the market changes and both greening bets get matched causing me to turn a winning position into a losing one.

My question is do I have to put further rules into my automation to tidy up unmatched bets, or is there a way of forcing the "Green_All" command to first delete all unmatched bets? I ask because I have noticed a rule in the setup(under behaviour) to delete unmatched bets on closing trades.

By the way I am trading the in-play football with deleays etc. etc.

I'm also having trouble with this. The problem is that by the time the green-up order has been placed, the market has moved a little, meaning the green-up bet isn't matched.

Could we have a green-up whereby an offset can be input (n ticks) to ensure the greening bet will get matched?

Geening up is no garantee of matching all bets (sometimes dozens) especially in a fast moving market like horse races live. when you see a "potential" green up value it means "if we managed to match all bets outstanding in this moment", but of course one second later all that has changed, sometimes in your favour and you get more...
when you fire the greenup function all bets are placed, no need to place them again, or better said, you mustn't place them again because you risk to make a mess, only have not all been matched, but that is the risk you take by greening up on live markets...

... which is why it would be good to have a tick offset option. I realise this would only be any good if you had one bet in the market, but would still be worthwhile, and would provide more of an assurance that the green-up would actually do it's job.

Multiple bets are, of course, a different matter.

I think the tick offset idea is a good one. I would also like to be confident that a "Green_All" command in Automation cancels any unmatched bets in the market.

At the moment I have inserted a "Cancel_All" trigger to fire just before the "Green_All". I am not quite sure how to guarantee that it fires just before the greening trigger, other than being very specific with the timings.

It will do this if the setting 'Cancel a selection's unmatched bets when closing a trade' is ticked (on the Behaviour page of the Bet Angel Settings screen).

I do have that parameter set. So I can't understand why I end up with two Greening bets in my market?

There is a complication though - For some markets I am auto trading the favourite, so the selection that I am trading may change. That Greening setting under Behaviour, states that only unmatched bets on the selection will be cancelled - which of course in my case could have changed during the trading sesion.

It is a bit annoying as I have auto traded about 50 markets today, with 3 or 4 going severly against me and my redding out routines have not fired as intended to cut my losses :(

thinking about things I now think the essence of the problem is "How to exit an in-play market that is going against you?"

As I fire a "Green All" command to red out, the bet is placed at the current price as I have no control over that. But with the in-play delay, by the time the bet hits the market it is already out of the money. Trialling on £2 stakes causes another problem becuase we have to go through the bet modification routine.

I am a bit stumped now :( With a stop loss you can place the bet below the trigger point so maybe that is the only way to go?
