Sorry if I'm being thick but can you tell me how to remove selected markets from the 'File' drop-down on the main menu?

This is simply a history of recent markets you have visited, not sure why you want to delete it?

My point is that the selected markets from the File drop-down could be used to view a number of markets that have potential for trading. Those not suitable could then be removed from the list, leaving just the ones of interest. This list could then be used to skip between markets.
I know this can be done with the guardian and watch lists but I thought that this would be an easier alternative that did not require opening extra windows.
Silly me, eh?

I think you misunderstood my response, that list is just a history of recently visitied markets, that is all. Guardian is the primary tool for the sort of navigation you mention.

I did understand your response and sorry if I seemed a bit rude. I accept that that guardian is the primary tool for adding and deleting markets but just thought it would be a useful addition to have the facility to delete markets from the file drop-down with a simple right-click>delete. While trading football on a Saturday the screen can get really congested (I check live scores, in-play stats, look for possible arbs and other trading opportunities) so would like my trading to be done in just one window.
Not to worry, I'll find a way round it.
