The question is looking at the Windows 8 software it looks more like a apps application thing, so is BA compatable with it, i wouldnt go ahead till i know for sure also the i5 core prosessor will this make BA perform faster on a lap top pc than the norm dual core and if so by how much percent

Windows 8 essentially has 2 flavours to it. The current keyboard / mouse interface that you are used to in earlier versions of Windows, and a touch screen style interface for tablets etc.
Applications that run on prior versions of Windows should run fine on Windows 8 for laptops / PCs.
Re the dual core / quad core argument, for the most part you will see little noticeable difference between running on a dual or quad processor of the same speed.

I thought so re the arguement about processors, the only difference is how much more ££ they can get out of your pocket, if the machine has a good anti V and is low of all unessasary programs it should be fine, but i will wait a little longer for them to iron out the gliches as all new stuff hasBackHighLayLow wrote:Windows 8 essentially has 2 flavours to it.
