Drop Down Menu

In the Automation Rules column when I go to attach a rules file a drop down menu of the rules files I have created appears - how do I delete the rules in this drop down menu? I have deleted the rules files in the Rules File Selection box area but the deleted rules still appear in the drop down menu in the Automation Rules column and the new rules files I have created don't because there isn't room so I can't attach the files I want to.
Sure I am missing something simple.

Open up the rule in the editor.

Then click on the red cross to the right.

Thanks for the reply. I have done that and removed from there but still in the drop down menu when I click in the Automation Rules column. I thought removing from the editor would also removed from the Automation Rules column drop down menu but it hasn't.
