Always likely to stall a bit around that point. You always see a bit of a battle going on before direction becomes apparent.

Did anyone notice this very weird spike. I had a Lay sitting at 1.77 which got hit and then bang - spike took the odds all they way to above 3 and back down.

By the time I noticed what happened the odds were making their way back under 2.

I'm getting more convinced that Betfair have fiddled with the XM now. It tends to show up in small fields and in that 5 runner the price moves where just off the scale completely. Either that or they have really messed up some matching architecture somewhere. Whatever it is the small field markets in weak races are right off the right side of the bell curve at the moment.

I noticed it with the outsider David's Folly. It was trading at 20, then BANG there's £350 waiting at 12, it gets chipped away at and within 4/5 mins is 25/1 again. Bizarre stuff

Yes, that was a pretty crazy day for trading but for those like myself looking for speculative value bets on favourites it was great. :D

I'm having a nice steady day today, no surprises in either direction.
