Hi guys/BA team,

Just want to be sure. Is Betfair down today? Or it's the sign that they are pulling out from another country again (denying access to their API). I live in Malaysia. While logging on to Betfair today, BA showed the response "an exception occured when logging into Betfair using API. Unable to connect to remote server."
Try to logging in to Betfair site, none of the Betfair related sites are loading on my browser. Everything was working fine 24 hours ago.
Any ways to know for sure the cause of the problem?

The worrying sign is none of the Betfair related site is loading in all my web browsers. Not even the helpdesk, Timeform page ect. Betdaq Angel and its official page is working fine though.
I expect if anything drastic were to happen (like Betfair pulling out of a country), there must be an advance notice from Betfair to their customers. But nothing coming out so far from where I stand. I wonder anyone has had a similar experience before and kindly tell me as what to expect in the nearest future.

No problems reported in blightly, but it could be a local restriction. Asia is a bit of a closed shop for gamblers.

Something is definately up. Lots of people complaining in various places. Seems OK for a while then refresh rates will suddenly go to 500ms plus and properly lag - at times I can't get bets in.

Seems to have been OK for the past hour or so - definitely sticky before then for me though...

Settled down pretty much after I posted that second message. I've contacted betfair so they must be aware at least. Hope it holds up over the weekend!
