Ive set up a spreadsheet which montiors the two markets I use for a particular strategy that im testing. I back one of the markets then if the price hasnt reached a certain level by a certain minute I trade out of both markets (the one that is running in profit first). While testing in practice mode I started out by just saying when this cell is true then "Green_ALL". This seemed to work fine but after a few attempts it would issue the green all command but the profit would not be equalised very well (im guessing due to odds movement at the time the bet went in).
I then worked out a way to calculate the trade out lay stake dependent on the current price at the time the trigger is activated. I then got the sheet to fire in that specific lay bet and once that was matched got the global status cell to look at the number of matched lay bets in the market and the difference between the highest trade out figure and the lowest trade out figure on the market. If there is 1 matched Lay bet in this market (the first part of the trade out process) and the greening up using this bet has left the difference between the best and worst trade out position greater than £1 then it fires in a green_all command to tidy it up, if less than £1 it stays blank.
However last night while practising it placed the manual bet, then exactly the same stake went in as the green all figure too. Any ideas what may have gone wrong??
Also would you say that greening up using two methods like this is the best option to a nice balanced book or would anyone have some other suggestions? I havent used the Lay offset with greening true but am reading up on it now as an alternative. Some advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Trade Out Preferences.
I attempted a few trades on the football tonight to practise and the problem happened again. Ive took a copy of the log from the market i was using. Does anybody know what may be causing this or has anyone seen this before?? At a certain time trigger the sheet automatically works out the trade stake by looking at the current best market price and in this case enters the Back bet to green the position.
The global command then checks to see if the this manual attempt at greening up has got an equalised position to within £1. If so it should stay blank, if the position has greened to over £1 difference then the GREEN_ALL global command should be displayed. (So basically just tidying up the position to an equal green or red).

Here is an example of another match I did and the trade went correctly. Initial bet prematch, first trade out bet and then the tidy up green all for the final £1.95
