In the past year I've tried to get into the habit of loading up markets and using the automation tool to greenup seconds before the off as a safety net.
Well tonight, I forgot I had put a substantial lay order in the market at 7's. Suddenly remembering, I saw the the horse had won, but the automation had kicked in, so it saved my bacon.
Phew ..
Phew
I also had a "phew" moment in the Blackburn v Cardiff game late on in 2012. In flick between 2 markets (Under 2.5 and the Match odds).
I thought I had backed under 2.5 when a shot on goal ended up in row Z. But in fact i had backed Blackburn (with £500), when they were 0-1 down......YIKES!!!! Luckily, as i tried to close the trade for a loss....the markets were suspended and Blackburn scored.....just under 1k profit.....i could not close my position quick enough....lady luck was on my side that day!
