Reminds me of the time i was using a wireless mouse and keyboard and the batterys went flat and for some reason it layed 4x the stakes with just one click

Karma has balanced out.

Horse was leading. Race caller said jockey had lost the irons. Odds blew out. Horse continued to lead. Odds stayed blown out with the line approaching. I thought "what the hell", its worth $1 at over 300 since it is the leader and not far to go.

And it saluted the line. Unfortunately someone is on the other side of that - but maybe they got me last night on the fat finger.
