I know! Bless her, she really doesn't understand what I'm doing, but she's seen me bang my head on the desk enough to know 'We don't go in-play' and we'd only just agreed that before food got the better of me.PeterLe wrote:Valentines day is tomorrow????! Champions League tonight!

think both these matches are going to finish 2-1 just not sure who the winners will be.
takes a brave man to back either of these games for a draw.

actually 2-2 dortmund seems a sensible punt right now.

Good call
I d like to compliment man utd for it but, even if we support a team or an other, sometimes we need to be fair and for what I watched the real madrid short odds was justified the way they played the game. Yes perhaps 1,56 was too short but 1,67 from early odds was just about right!
The stats are similar of Celtic vs Barcelona.. barcelona lost the game but we could not argue that barcelona odds were too short because they played better and so did real madrid tonight!!
Btw enjoy the almost victory!! and you Ferru123..well done!!

Is this because man utd sneeked a draw?Euler wrote:So as we suspected 1.56 was terrible value on RM!

I would say 1.56 was awful value
for a team that didn't win
.
Utd were too big and so was the draw imo
and the only stat that really matters is goals scored
and that was 1 each
To be fair after the 1st goal they were never going to take too many risks, Goals change games and they got what they came for an away goal, a great result for them.
imo Man utd are one of the most underrated teams in world football, people are always keen to wright them off and say they are finished.
But they keep on winning.

Man U don't always play brilliantly, but one of the reasons that we have been so successful over the years is that we have a dogged determination.
We were outplayed tonight, but we still managed to engineer a situation where Real Madrid need to score at Old Trafford to stay in the CL, so it's not a bad result!

I don't think you were watching a different game to the rest of us necessarily
,
you correctly saw that Real Madrid statistically were the better team, more possession, more shots on goal etc, yes.
but im just not sure what you were expecting from Utd really.
Not many teams are going to try and out play Real Madrid at the Bernabeu, especially after scoring a vital away goal.
You can probably expect more of the same at old Trafford too and why not they are winning,
but i do however think Real will score, so that may have to change at some point.

After shamelessly directing me to a page that offers magical things like goalscorer refunds and FIXED ODDS, Betfair are now doing in play coupons that really let me know in advance what's coming up.
Hats off!
Hats off!
