I've had difficulty getting Bet Angel to open my 2010 workbooks (with an xlsx extension). In BA when I click "Open Workbook", it only wants files that have the older .xls extension. BA won't "see" my .xlsx or .xlsm files because of this .xls limitation. I would really like to be able to open my Excel 2010 files directly. Could someone offer a work around please?

Whilst you have excel open re save the file.

File > Save As > with the Save as type drop down = *.xls

I think this has been an issue since Excel 2007. Bet angel doesn't recognize the new extensions as Excel files. Something which is not unique to them. However if you click to show all files it should show them then.
