A while back there was a discussion on match profiling, i think mugs mentioned a site with a free trial. so i signed up on a months trial last week.

I worked through last wknds games and picked some of the games with value bets and tried them out with small stakes, a couple of bets were ones i would never have normally got involved in i.e draw/qpr at 6.20. all the selections i placed returned about 20% on my total stakes.

I used same tactics again Sunday and similar, around 12% returns ,so i thought ok this warrants further research.

On to today, EVERTON vs MAN CITY,

I profiled this game, the goals sheet showing the most chance of a goal was 30-45 mins and 60-75 mins.

This is what i came up with as value.

half time= everton
full time= everton
under 2.5 goals
ht/ft= home/home
both teams to score= no
home win by 1 goal.

Despite a red card everton went in 1-0 at half time with the goal coming on 32 mins, full time 2-0 so only selection down was home win by 1 goal and the second was deep into injury time.

Summary

I'm very cautious about stuff like this, as i was with bet angel a few years ago, especially something that is subscription based, but i will trial it fully maybe even a full season, but it looks quite good so far but for me still early days.

Obviously its not a crystal ball as it went with with unders on the Liverpool Tottenham game which saw 5 goals but still returned a profit overall.

So cheers mugs for the heads up.

pulled this independent review from amazon, which whilst the review is on their book, for last season, no reviews on this seasons as its kindle only, it talks in detail about the guys site...
hope it helps
all that glitters is not gold, or is it?

Pretty much what I said in the title. There's very little to get stuck into here, half the book talks up how much money the authors and making and advertises their subscription website - the other half is a data intensive stats section on all the premiership teams compiled pre season. It holds some interest but, as you can imagine after February, is already out of date. For up to the minute data that may help informed betting you need to subscribe to the website. Liverpool for example, despite rallying in the last two weeks, have barely played like a Class A side and preseason data on them in horribly misleading.

The book does give you two weeks free subscription to the website, which I then used for another month after they billed me a few days early and I hadn't had time to cancel. The site compiles relevant data on all premiership games and includes some useful snippits on which markets may be worth dipping into. If you subscribe to the full a month service they will email you which actual bets to put on hours before the games. Sounds fantastic, a guaranteed way to make money.

Only it isn't. All the bets are created purely from a statistical point of view and most are odds on (only very few were Evens bets) and I think in the six weeks I spent with them only 2 were slightly higher than odds on (2.06 decimal). Betting at such low odds is dangerous unless you are hitting a high percentage of winners. Of the six weeks I used the site only 2 were winning weeks (5 points in total) and the rest even broke even (just) or were losses.

Admittedly, the premiership season seems to have gone a little crazy this year but this hardly makes up an excuse for this many persistant losers. When I looked at their website just before Christmas, the authors claimed to be +8 points since the start of August, and on track to their total of 40 come May. I doubt they are still at +8 at this point and to be honest, unless you're betting high stakes (£200 a point) it's barely worth the trouble. If you were betting with £10 level stakes, you'd have won £80 before Christmas and paid £110 in subscription fees.

Despite all their claims, I seriously doubt the authors are both living off the wage they make betting here. Seriously disappointing.

its good to get alternative views.
the reviewers opinion on the premier betting/betform site is no more or less relevant than your own,its just a different one.

The review is relevant, its based on the info/system/stats that the premier site used for its recommendations at the time, the exact same system thats now known as betformpro.
premier betting is a site that uses the betformpro system for its recommendations to this day. If you sign up for the free weekly insider some of the tips are based on it,and if you sign up for the silver membership, this is even more so, and if you sign up for the gold membership that actaully includes betform pro access!
Its run by the same people also!
How this is not relevant is a mystery.
I suggest you get over yourself, and dust down your ego.
I am not suggesting any disingenuousness on your part, the reviewer is no more or less annoymous than you or anyone here or anywhere on the net.
As for your "reputation", a famous quote springs to mind, "a man wrapped up in himself makes a very small bundle.”
If its a review you are after you have come to the right place, (the one quoted is not mine) as until recently I made my living reviewing betting products/system/software. However I do not work for free.
Have a profitable day.

I dont use the software as there are tons of really great websites out there, so cant comment on the software. But I do get a very strong impression Finnigan & Nordsted make their money from flogging stuff rather than doing it.
