Hi guys, I am doing ok out of football trading - but am slowly grasping the horse race trading (pre-off).
My question is relating to pre-off horse race trading. On an average day - how many trades (good/bad/scrathed etc) would you say you put through per race? I need to compare my stats to the seasoned pro's to see how i compare.
It seems to have clicked recently in terms of reading the graphs and charts and seem to be able to make small profit with small stakes - but am keen to see how many trades people do....
Thanks chaps.....
How many trades per race?

About 300-1000 for me depending upon how you view a single trade.

Ill down that to about 100-300. Probably about every 6 seconds for me with 3 positions per 1 trade. So I guess 10 trades a minute.
Hi Steven, thanks for your reply. So you manage to back and lay 300 - 1000 times per race pre-off? Hmm, i might need to go back to the drawing board. BTW, i class a trade as open with a back or lay, and then close with the opposite, hopefully with green numbers....

Is your football trading, in play or pre off?

In match odds have a definite direction. Horses pre off don't.
I always feel that if I entered 1000 pounds lay at 6s on pre horses, the market immediately moves to 5.2 and never seems to come back unless I enter other positions into the market to protect the position or make the position worse. However, if I laid man u for a 1000 when drawing in the 89th minute at 6s the odds may move against my money to 5.6s very short term but I know they will very soon come back if no goal is scored so my risk is shorter term.
Don't believe everything you see in them markets. There are sharks waiting to eat you up.
