Looking at the card, it has 'clashes' written all over it!
Quite a few have the same off time..Busy day though.
Mind you the missus want's to go shopping this morning for a dress AND new shoes...so on a mission to get there and back before the start of the races! Thats a long shot..
It will probably take me the rest of the day trying to recoup the cost too!
Regards
Peter

PS Did anyone trade the boat race in between the races yesterday? I had a nice green on it at the start but expected Oxford's price to drift out a bit over over a the race, but it didn't! it shot down to 1.1 in no time. Where is the protester when you need them! :(

Day off for me yesterday apart from the last set in the Murray match so I didn't trade the boat race.

This is one of the least favourite bank holidays for me because there are lots of races and a lot of them are over the jumps, so it just doesn't work very well for me.

I'll forgive racing for putting on lots on an easter bank holiday though :)

It's is probably a good day to take the missus out for a new coat. 50 races and I am sure the liquidity will be divided up so much it will be difficult to get reasonable trades matched. I remember it was like that on Boxing Day. I am starting to prefer weekday trading only when things are a little more settled.

Just got back in time for the start of the racing..quite successful 'in and out' shopping trip..
She said "How was that then"..I said "Not bad, about £85/Hour!" :(

I reckon it will be a day of lots of little profits and the occasional highlight. Markets don't really get going very much before the next one is due. A least you now have a target Peter!

Today is living up to its reputation as one of my least favourite days of the year.

Horse Racing: £470.01 Total P&L: £470.01
Bank Holdays really suit my trading....Its a shame there are only four a year!

However, I finally cracked and went out with my wife this morning and she bought a bathroom suite, I was there for the miniumum of time so I could get back for the 66 races but I am still a long way down on the day. My face must have been a picture when the salesman asked her if she wanted one of those posh radiators to go with it :o
I hope you got the money to cover the Dress Peter!

Hey that's a good total! Better than I did today, although my profits got better towards the end of the day.

I was running her account on auto and she did 4 times what I did...so she can have her clothes courtesy of betfair! :D
