With these continued connection issues I am suffering from I would be interested if anyone who uses a VPS to help improve response times could write a post about how they work and what you need to get them set up to work with Bet Angel and finally recommend a company to buy it from.

If anyone could take the time to explain it all it would be very very much appreciated. A kind of VPS for dummies guide :)

TIA.

Sounds brill! from billing point of view it would be much easier to pay for betangel and a vps solution in a combined payment, also hopefully a lot more competively priced that the £27 ish I pay every month for my VPS :D

It's a dog unfortunately, but it only appears to be affecting the inbound to the server, the actual servers appear to be fine.

I have two broadband at home (work and private); also tried running speedtest..both ends, so had my suspicions!
Here's me thinking it was approaching the 3pm kick off! :o

I'm running local for my normal traidng this afternoon. I have some automation running and that seems to be OK but interacting with it is horrible.

Ok at the risk of loads of insults. What the hell is a vps. Have I got one, do I need one and what is the advantages. Sorry but new to this and not very computer knowledgeable.

VPS - Virtual Private Server.

If you don't know what one is you definitely won't have one.

If you are a professional trader it would be worth considering having one.

The advantages include higher speed connection to Betfair, ability to connect from any device connected to the internet as long as there is a remote client available.

Thanks. Certainly need one of them today, this ridiculous. For a village location I dont seem to do so bad but today its stupid. Got to be on Betfairs side!

As an Australian, would this safely circumvent the laws preventing Aussies from sports betting online whilst in-play?
