I have heard that race starters in the National Hunt will be made redundant. There is a new list of skills required and it's pretty comprehensive.

1. Must be able to tell the time
2. Must be able to climb steps unaided
3. Must be physically capable of pulling a lever
4. Must be capable of anticipation

Now Point 4 is the real killer!

Oh and finally.....totally illegal but.....

Current starters need not apply!! :lol: :lol:

Sorry just couldn't resist it! What a useless bunch of ****** they are!

too much responsibility for me.

I am more interested in either;

the position of flag man as long as I don't have to buy my own flag or wellies.

Race commentator as long as I am allowed to bet on the races while I commentate.
