Hi,
First of all sorry if this has already been addressed but I could not find it.
I am new to bet angel and having just purchased the professional version and I have found the following missing or I probably don't know where to look. Can someone please guide me.
1. How can I override restriction of minimum £2 stake while in ladder or one-click screen. Can I change the money amount on the fly? I get an error saying minimum stage is £2 when I try to back/lay for £1
2. Does BA Show football score or Tennis Score? if so, where?
3. The ladder interface does not show the current back/lay prices. they only flash for a second and disappear. Im having to switch to ONE-CLICK or ADVANCED Ladder. Is there a setting for this?
4. When the price changes a lot, the Ladder does not follow or auto scroll or auto centre. So I am lost as to what the current price for back/lay is. Any ideas please? (on Market Feeder Pro they have a nice Ladder blue and red line for current trading price that according to the price changes. is there something similar in BA?)
5. Is there a Sound Alert to confirm when the bet is matched? Also the current interface only shows unmatched bets at the bottom, can I turn on a feature to show matched bets as well instead of switching view to matched bets and loosing the sight of the ladder?
Many thanks in advance for your help
Newbie Questions please help
Welcome to Bet Angel. I'll try to answer a few of these for you:
1 - The minimum bet size is £2. It is against the terms and conditions of use of the exchange to bet less than this. However, using a trick you can use the dutching interface to get around this by setting a 'Back with a stake of £1' in the staking method section. Then selecting one runner using the tick boxes. Then clicking the 'Place bets' button.
2 - Betfair does not provide a current score service to Bet Angel. You will need to derive the score yourself using a spreadsheet for example. There is a discussion here - viewtopic.php?f=19&t=7148
3 - The ladder does show the current back & lay prices. They are the ones with money available on each side. The closest pair are the current prices.
4 - The ladder does not move as this would be dangerous when placing bets. Imagine trying to select a price then as you click the ladder jumps to a totally different price. This would be unusable as a tool. You can re-centre to the current price by clicking on the percentage figures at the top of each ladder column.
5 - There is no sound alert to tell you when an unmatched bet subsequently becomes matched. You can undock the matched bets screen by clicking on the blue arrow in the top right hand corner. Resize and pin next to the unmatched bets area using the blue drawing pin button also in the top right of each screen.

I have answered the questions as best I can in the order in which you asked them.
1. The minimum stake is set by Betfair and not Bet Angel. You can green up below the minimum stake but that is all you can sensibly do. I say sensibly because Betfair will eventually penalise you if you keep using stakes below their minimum
2. BA does not show the scores of an event.
3. The current prices will be shown on the ladder, the current lay price will be on the right and the back price on the left, where the prices meet. The lay price always sits 1 tick higher than the back price assuming there are no gaps.
4. The auto centre feature is a patented software function is memory serves me correctly. That is why it is not included in BA. To centre the ladders simply hit the return key on your keyboard.
5. Your matched bets will not be shown apart from in the "matched bets" tab. This will mean moving from the ladder interface. However, if you look at the ladder you will see Net Stake and this will show your position. The amounts on the respective runners will also show a positive/negative amount which will show your liability. The sound of a bet being placed is on a laptop but I am not sure it applies to a desktop.
