excel help please!

Hi all

first time poster here - have been doing this for quite some time but have come across something I could do with some help with!!

Basically, I want to be able to do the following:

1) At 15 minutes before the start of a race, record the odds of all horses and also their % of market volume.then identify each horse by their position based on favoritism (in a separate column).
2) at 1 minute before the scheduled start time, once again look at the odds of the horses and their % market volume.

My system will then decide what to back/lay based on these figures. The bit I am struggling with is how to:

i) record the prices and market volume of the horses at any given time (ie 15 mins and 1 min before the scheduled off)
ii) export this information in to a format where normal excel functions can compare the data -eg is the horse that was second still second 14 mins later, has their market share increased/decreased etc.

I know this is an in depth subject, and I am doing lots of research, but I thought I would reach out to the wider community to see if anyone has any programs that already look at these sort of things.

There is a spreadsheet that will record market odds and another that will sort into favourite order.

I'm sure you could combine these and adapt to get what you want.
