Betfair trimming football markets

Just got an email confirming they are going to cull a large chunk of markets from mainly over seas and minor UK leagues. They are trimming mainly secondary or lower liquidity markets or subset thereof.

Will affect:-

Non live premier league
UK TV Bundesliga

Segunda Division
Budesliga 2

Scottish Premier

Ligue 2
Segunda Liga

Airtricity First Division
Dutch Jupiler League

Would have thought they would have sorted out a client or two to price up those markets - so at least backers can get on at a not-entirely-insulting price.

What do they mean by culling markets?
Are they going to stop having prices on these leagues, or just not the vast array of markets

Some of those leagues are quite significant in terms of liquidity on match odds & goals over/under
