Mourinho backed in from 5s to 4s then back out again in the last hour, is almost like pre event odds!

I don't blame you at that price LeTiss. Even if it is him they wouldn't announce it till he leaves Everton officially

Simply because I think it's incredibly short & at that price you'd have to think it was a done deal.

There has been no indication whatsoever that United & Everton have been in discussions about Moyes replacing Fergie this summer, so there would have to be a process to go through.

My experiences of manager markets tells me that he's worth a lay at 1.16, as they are very volatile

I have layed Moyes too. Something not quite right. Willing to take the minimal risk I am wrong

Italian sport-papers are honouring Fergie on the 1st page. I think he deserve it all..An English club made history thanks to his contribution. Hats off fergie...
One thing I can't stop thinking about is how he manage to win 2 champions league, it's a mistery that will be soon forgotten. Man utd never dominated a single final, but despite that has 2 great trophys to show off..
In my opinion the strongest Man Utd in the fergie era was in 2008..That squad was a mix of strengh and high class players. You can see them winning 1-0 games without a single threat to lose 3 points..Despite that, they did not deserve the final in Moscow, but for overall season they did indeed deserve it..

I imagine only a handful of people at Man U know what's really going on, and I suspect they're keeping quiet. This is possibly going to turn out to be a classic case of a hype-driven market bubble.

I hope Moyes doesn't get the job.

I imagine there are few managers in the world who would say 'no' if Man U came calling, meaning we will be able to get someone who's truly world class. I'm sure we can do better than David Moyes. He seems to be a competent manager, but not someone who can set the world alight. By contrast, Morinho is like Fergie in that he's a volatile character who says controversial things, but he's a footballing genius.

I hope the Man U board don't make the same mistake as the FA by appointing a Steady Eddy who won't rock the boat, rather than a passionate world class manager...
