Dortmund doing a good job of shutting out Real. Lewandoski almost score and almost broke the crossbar in doing so!

Amazing drift before the off on Barca!

Have I missed some significant team news?

Christ Barca are terrible tonight. Was looking forward to this match but Barca not in it. Surely some pride to salvage.

I dont watch many champs league games due to time difference where I live. So being back in uk im enjoying having the opportunity to watch the games. last night was a great game but tonight is horrible. I know barca had no realistic chance to start with but has there ever been such a disapointing half hearted effort at a semi final champs league before? Not just messi, but the subs as well. Just glad im in uk and not got up at 2am to.watch it

yeah re dont let anyone tell you one player is NOT bigger than the team and interesting that the pre off drift proved correct.

Happily thanks to betangel and in play trading was able to come away from the game with small profit :)

Fair play to Bayern, absolutely excellent over the two legs

However, it is incredible how ineffective Barca are when Messi is missing

LOL Le Tissier kept Saints in Premier league almost single handedly for 10 years.

Will Bale stay at Spurs? Only if theu get champions league methinks!

I wasn't being funny, I agree Le Tiss kept us in the PL on his own

Barca though have been considered one of the greatest club sides of all time, but taking Messi out makes them a very different side

I know! I was trying to be funny, but comic delivery lost something on message board or twitter! Tumbleweed etc.

I just heard on the news wires that many Bayern and Borrusia fans were arrested at Wembley for trespass. Apparently they were found placing towels on their preferred seats!

This is the view from a hotel in Alcudia. I stayed at this hotel and it overlooks the apartments and the pool. You could hear them dragging the sun beds to the area by the trees!!

It might be a case of being patient today.
There's so much money sat waiting, it's not always easy to get matched

I fancy getting involved with goals markets instead. It will be a slick pitch tonight after all the rain, so I think it will be an open match, rather than dour affair

1.8 for Bayern is a bit too short in my opinion...I can't argue the fact that Bayen munich should be favorite, but if is there a team that knows Bayern Munich better is B. dortmund which can really challange Bayern in all departments...
History:
1997 Champions League Final Result
Score
BOR. DORTMUND 3-1 JUVENTUS
Riedle 29', 34' Del Piero 65'
Ricken 71'

Germany's first winner of the Champions League came in the unlikely shape of Borussia Dortmund as they upset reigning champions Juventus in Munich. Two goals from Karl-Heinz Riedle and a winner from Lars Ricken were enough to cancel out Alesandro Del Piero's reply for Juve.
Juventus was the strongest side in europe in 1996-97-98.
The odds to win the champions league final in 1997 were all against B.Dortmund. Also Juventus faild to win 2 consecutive finals..

Good luck 2nite and enjoy the game...
