Can someone explain how the "each way markets" on Betdaq work? Is it for top 3 positions or have I misunderstood something again? I just noticed on the last race the odds were higher on the "each way" markets than the win market on betfair so it seemed to good to be true. Therefore I backed 4 horses and watching BF place market I noticed 3 of these horses went to 1.01 so I expected 3 wins on BD but only actually got the winning horse in my bets. It netted me a 12 pound profit but I was expecting at least 2 of the horses to profit for me as it was "each way market". Does anyone explain what the each way markets mean on BD?

If anyone can help explain the result of the race for the 3.30 at Chepstow was as follows

1 The Black Jacobin
2 Girl Of Cadiz
3 Barbs Princess

My EACHWAY bets (straight bets no trading) can be seen below. Can anyone explain how each way bets on Betdaq work. I dont understand the results in the P/L. Its not a big deal but Im just curious as the 2nd and 3rd place horses I had a small loss when i thought for going each way you still won but with a lower level of stake?

Betdaq advised "The Black Jacobin won the race, so you were awarded your full stake for that selection. As three of your selected horses placed, you were awarded half of your stake on each of these bets."
