Can someone please answer this question for me.
How does Betfair determine which Australian races have live betting and which don't?
Previously I thought it was a case of some meetings have live betting and others don't, but today I noticed that the Warrnambool meeting has live betting on races 3, 4 and 5, and then on races 7 to 10, but not on races 1, 2 or 6.
Thanks
Richard
Australian races - live betting
sportsbet are now betting live during these jumps races. I believe this is the first time they've done so. Not sure how it will go if you can't with one-click. Be interesting if it changes Betfair's Aust policy which I expect has been set in fear of anti-jumps racing protestors.
We now have Betfair in-play on Australian jumps racing.
I first noticed this on an Adelaide race on Saturday then again today.
Haven't seen any discussion just this under the list of June races covered at Betfair Community Home › Other Announcements › Markets Forum › Australian Horse Racing and Harness Coverage - June 2013:
"BSP and In Play will be offered on Win markets for all Australian thoroughbred races."

Wildly,
I think you might find that all metrpolitan races go in play - so if there is a jumps race at Adelaide (for example) it will go in play - but it might be that jumps racing in regional meetings don't go in play. It might be worth contacting BF and asking them directly.
