FIFA Confederations Cup: Spain or Brazil?

Football, Soccer - whatever you call it. It is the beautiful game.

Will it be Scolari's or Del Bosque's men? Both teams have flexed their muscles in their previous games. I'm almost sure it'll be these teams in the finals. Uruguay may have beaten Nigeria by goal difference after winning against Tahiti (and Nigeria fell to Spain)but they'll hit a brick wall against Brazil in the semis. Italy has been plagued with injuries and their chances are pretty slim against Spain, too. Thoughts, anyone? ;)

Brazil scored 4 against Italy so did Japan ( one goal was disallowed). Italy has a clear defence problem since losing 4-0 against Spain in the european cup final. Brazil had easy life against poor performance of Japan and poor performance by Italian defence but, in that game Italy has dominated most of the second half. Spain in the other hand, look better then ever. The passing, the scoring, the defence, the goalkeeper, it's all at their best.
Unfortunaly despite hoping for Italy, I have to say, SPAIN is still unbeatable at the moment.

Buon giorno Giuglio. Grazie for your input.

Same here on Italy. Much as like the underdogs to win, I don't think Italy can. They're rather banged up right now. Without Balotelli on their squad, they lack power on the attack. Pirlo and Montolivo are said to be back from injuries for the semis, but you can't help thinking fitness can still affect their game. Pirlo is the man who orchestrates their play and without him or without his full capacity it will spell trouble for Italy.

Meanwhile, between Uruguay and Brazil..... They're two of South America's three former WC winners. Brazil's got a serious threat from Uruguay who have a pretty strong triumvirate (Suarez, Cavani and Forlan) right now, and Suarez and Cavani are two of the most sought-after strikers in the world. Coach Tabarez's got nukes under his disposal but whether he'll be able to utilize their full power still depends on how he'll set up his team to create good chances. Who knows, it could be Spain against Uruguay. Haha.
