If you use any non API mode then Bet Angel will always try and get API data if possible from Betfair. But if it is not available it you lose certain features like full market depth.

taking the rest of the day off sounds like a good option, I just had to close out on the betfair site as well with it dying about 1 min before the off at Kempton.

What a bad month that was, with the weather causing loads of issues in the first half of the month and then Betfairs incompetence for most of the last 7 days.

I've just lost £112 because the API dropped and I couldn't trade out of the Arsenal game after the 1st goal!

I would do as BA have suggested keep a copy running in mode 1 in the background that ISN'T refreshing then you can switch straight to it. Also have a webpage of BF open!

That's exactly what I've been doing, changed the background colour of the BA version in mode 1 to yellow so I don't get confused and managing to trade the football.....just.

Interestingly, or perhaps not, BF locked as well when I tried to trade out earlier this afternoon, so that route isn't always available either, but the more options we have the better

- what they believe is the problem
- what they are doing to fix it
- how long they believe it will take

I don't expect any more information than BA can get, which seems to be very little, but I'll post the reply.
