Another really dumb question.
I am about to start travelling the World.
I trade Forex on the ETX and GKFX platforms, is it only possible to use BetAngel or does it work as a normal computer enabling me to also trade on the above and connect to BBC I Player. I have searched through every VPS link and not found any mention of other use possibilities. Thanks.

it works as a normal computer. I some times use my for work as one of my customers has a certain application that doesn't work too well with my Apple Safari and runs ok on Crome.
never used it with Iplayer before though?

You can stream video as well, but the quality and smoothness can vary a fair bit. I have a whole bunch of various bits of software installed on my VPS but also use a VPN as well for a backup for things like iPlayer.

Was there a problem with the VPS's today? It looks like mine had rebooted sometime after 15:35?

Yes, unfortunately there was a short outage at 15:40ish, not sure of the reason. We are awaiting a response from the service provider.
