hello, i'm new to trading. what would you do with the following horse?

You would have already done it at this point.

If you think the price will shorten, get smaller you back it, if you think it will go higher you lay in and then take the profit (or loss) at the off.

9 day meetings today.
full of maidens . :D class 5-6 handicaps,,its gona be a thin mess,,,,,i might be better going into the city and having a nice lunch somewhere, :roll:

An 'interesting' day, 64 races in total, generally five mins apart and the odd clash scheduled and a few more due I am sure.

It's a shame Goodwood couldn't carry on until the Monday, it through up some nice stability yesterday.

I traded that last one and left some money on Yojimbo at 870's..(£2)...it touched 770 I think! (and won) so near... :cry:

unlucky - seems you have become quite good at that sort of thing over the years - im sure it will not be too long before the next successful one :)

Thanks - depends how much I make pre race; sometimes Ill just dutch a small amount..Ah well! It would have been nice!

I think you'll find the reduced post volume is related to Andy Murray. The gamblers are in synchronised oestrus at the thought of him winning the US Open again.

Well I've had an excellent day. Bank holidays are inclined to gambling to me. So my philosophy is simple. First try to make something trading and then gamble it. Enjoy it. If you lose start again. A bit childish but ... these are the days that you should treat markets differently. There were some juicy lay the field situations and I got most of them right.
