Same here. I'm finding the horse racing very predictable at the moment. Don't think I lost a trade tonight, never mind a race.

I've done really well on the races that are 7f or less. I love the uncertainty in the shorter races.
I was watching the odds on nearly all the races in play today as I was also testing/modifying a new spreadsheet
I have no data to back it up, but the number of races where more than one traded low and lost was incredible
I dont know if anyone had anything running on auto, but I bet they returned a good profit..

Out of interest Peter, do you ever watch the Ausy in play horses? I think there is quite a lot you can learn seeing the spreads that quite often occur and take it to UK races. Quite often at the end of a race it appears to me prices flash in very low as though it is bots trying to fool other bots to back but with nothing really happening prior. Maybe it's nothing but it may be worth a look.PeterLe wrote:I was watching the odds on nearly all the races in play today as I was also testing/modifying a new spreadsheet

I think it would be hard to catch much but it may give a few patterns that could help in UK markets. I caught a few good ones at the end of races yesterday which felt similar to the prices quickly jumping. Maybe nothing like I say, but you may spot something for automation
Arabian race, very different from a thoroughbred race.

That's some history they have...going back 4,500 years! and to think all modern thoroughbreds are descended from just 3 of them. Their appearance reminds me of what I would imagine a unicorn to look like...without the horn!Euler wrote:Arabian race, very different from a thoroughbred race.
