I think it's better if we use the official outage thread for these issues, else we will clutter up this thread?

Please continue outage based stuff on this thread: -

Grrr, whole days profit wiped out on the 5:15 at Chester. Some guy took out like 20 ticks in one swoop.

Unlucky, I didn't see that I was probably on the phone at that time.

Been a below par day for me though, expected more from it TBH. But I've never got a massive total from the St Leger just one of those races for me.

In fact I was ploughing through betfair.data last night too. I dont have any detailed stats but there seems to be an awful lot of races lately where two or more trade under 2's. Kempton last Saturday - 6 out of 8 traded below 1.7 (5 below 1.5) and some as low as 1.02
Maybe some opps for lay to backs or whatever via the automation if you are out on a Saturday night!.. :D
Sorry I know I should really post this one here, but just to close it down..
Kempton produced another 4 losing horses below 1.5 yesterday..I dont normally trade this course, but maybe someone can make good use of this data in a lay to back auto strategy with tighter selection criteria..?
regards
Peter
PS I havent really much further back on this course, so it may be off trend..

What does that mean for the lazy ones on here that never looks at SP?

You could have backed the field for a risk free 18% profit.

Guessing there was a large amount of money on either the back or lay side that put the book out of sink?

Hard to get your staking correct in such cases as you don't know for sure what the prices are going to settle at so would require some sorting out i/r to level off the book as well.

There used to be a version of the Mad Bomber betting at SP that was a gold mine. The edge had largely been eradicated about 18 months ago but I hear from someone who still trades that sometime you can still get a nice win from it but nothing like it used to be like.

Always worth keeping an eye out on the predicted SP's right up to the off, the simplest way was to take advantage of the spike down/up that a large order caused.

Hi thanks for that.
I've tried more than one VPS and more than one type of device to access too.. I have some things running on auto so not too worried, just wanted to check how it was going

Just love the way Sandown runs to time all day then clashes with the feature at Listowel. I swear I'll burn that place down the trouble they have with starting races on time.

Careful what you say Peter, you only need one local arsonist to carry out your wish unbeknown to you to suddenly find you're number one suspect being dragged out of bed by a swat team at 6 in the morning
