From your experience, what is the worst comeback of a horse you've ever seen in-play? Take this scenario for instance:
- it's 30 to 15 seconds to the finish;
- a horse drifted fast from say 7 to 30 (or 50) so you place a Lay bet;
- have you ever seen this horse coming back in to 3 or 2 or even winning?

I'm asking this because the other day, while watching even the video, I placed a lay bet at 33 on a horse at the back, in a 14 horse, 2 mile race, crowded in. It was too early (middle of the race) and that was a mistake for sure - that horse won! So I learned to wait and only lay towards the end...

Still - if there was 15 seconds to finish - I can't see a price at 50 coming in to win. Do you?

I think you would be surprised how often it happens, 40 is low you should try 1000.

15 seconds is a long time, by the way the video you were watching is probably 10 seconds behind live as well.

I think there was a few last week. Also on 17th August I posted a chart of the which a horse went from 6s to 1000s early in the race. I wasn't watching the race so presumed it had fallen and then 30 seconds later his odds shot back in to win.
There was also this race when I'd imagine the odds touched a 1000 a few years back

Tony McCoy has managed to win on at least three occasions after his horses have been offered at 999-1 on Betfair. Watch this video:

'Blue Bunting' in the Irish Oaks, 2011, went out over 60 in the last 15 seconds of the race, went on to win. I backed that one. It was one of my biggest wins. Video link here:
